Thank You to Our Outgoing Chair

September 21st marked the end of outgoing Chair Evangeline Colman-Sadd’s term as a CAAF Director. Having joined the CAAF Board in 2017, she has served as Board Chair for the past four years, while she was the Auditor General of the Halifax Regional Municipality. Her invaluable knowledge and leadership helped guide the Foundation and its Board through many challenges and opportunities.

Evangeline provided the following farewell message to CAAF and its members:

Evangeline Colman-Sadd

Evangeline Colman-Sadd, CPA, CA

Former Auditor General of Halifax Regional Municipality

“It has been my honour to serve as a CAAF Board member and Chair of the Board. Over the last few years, CAAF has faced many challenges, including a pandemic that saw the need to pivot to different ways of working and, more importantly, of delivering training. While there will always be challenges on the horizon, I believe CAAF’s diverse board and management team, including new CEO Paul Forgues, positions the organization to achieve its vision of being recognized as a global knowledge leader in public sector auditing and oversight.”

The CAAF Board and staff would like to extend our appreciation and gratitude to Evangeline for her tireless work in service of the Foundation and its goal of advancing of public sector accountability. We wish her all the best in her future endeavours.
