Acknowledgements

The Attributes of an Effective Public Accounts Committee, first published in 2010, have been prepared for the Canadian Council of Public Accounts Committees (CCPAC) in consultation with its Advisory Group. We want to expresses our gratitude to the members of the PAC Advisory Group and the Canadian legislative audit community at that time for providing extensive and invaluable feedback. The Attributes were endorsed by and are intended to reflect the views of the PAC community more generally.

For this revised edition, we want to acknowledges the PAC Chairs, Vice-Chairs, committee clerks and researchers from all Canadian jurisdictions for completing the 2013 survey of Canada's PAC's, the results of which were incorporated into the Canadian Landscape and Practice Highlights for each of the twelve Attributes.
